After long consideration, it has ultimately been decided that the Dev server (this server) will be powered down to conserve resources. Effective 8/31/12 at approximately 11:59pm, this server will be shut down, but will not be decommissioned. The server’s configuration will remain intact so that it can be easily powered on again when needed.

Unless a serious and compelling reason is given to keep the server active, the shutdown will automatically proceed as scheduled.
